In addition to exploring the area of big data that I am immensely passionate about, I aspire to learn more about its related fields, such as predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. For module IS216 (Web Development 2), my team and I developed user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks, with HTML, CSS to come out with a website for Expats to know more about Singapore before travelling here. We have integrated the website with RESTful APIs to search for locations, currencies, and covid-19 statuses. Modified existing NodeJS code and MongoDB cluster to move data from one system to another. We scored an A for this project.

For module IS212 (Software Project Management), my team and I developed a learning journey management system to allow HR and Managers to CRUD and assign skills, roles and courses. It also enables the staff to view and CRUD their learning journey. We also applied agile methods such as Scrum to build the software and used techniques such as Pair Programming, C4 architecture, code refactoring, Test-Driven Development(TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) throughout the project We scored an A- for this project.

I embarked on a personal project when I realized the need to enhance my aunt's work efficiency. The problem I observed was that she had to manually review each line of a file to detect errors and ensure proper formatting. To address this issue, I developed a format generator that enables her to import text files into the application and automatically generate formatted text files that do not require manual editing. As a result, her workflow has significantly improved, and she no longer has to devote extensive time and effort to file formatting.

Final Year Project (FYP) with SingHealth

Administrators in SingHealth currently face inefficiencies in tracking and maintaining resident doctors' data, resulting in heavy workloads and mismatched records. They may also struggle to identify at-risk residents who may not complete their requirements until it is too late. To address these challenges, my team and I for our final year project (FYP) have created a web application that centralizes SingHealth residents' data. It eliminates the need for data transfer between departments, streamlines workflows with custom functions, and provides a dashboard for increased visibility into residents' progress and non-compliance. This application optimizes data management and facilitates early identification of at-risk residents, improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the residency program.

My team and I developed a web application called Vendor Management System for IS442, which offers customizable forms with suggestive input, signature, form export, and a user-friendly UI/UX optimized for Quantum Leap. The purpose of the application is to address the difficulties that Quantum Leap faces when onboarding vendors and subcontractors, as well as collecting and retaining necessary forms for record-keeping. Our Vendor Management System simplifies the vendor management process, streamlines onboarding, and ensures prompt notification of any updates or changes through email. The customizable forms, along with form export and signature functionalities, improve record-keeping and compliance. Ultimately, the Vendor Management System enhances the overall experience for both Quantum Leap and their vendors/subcontractors. We received an A for this project.

In this prototype, we have included both customer's and staff's perspective. Our group achieved an A- for this project.
